With their vintage uniforms and flag games brighten up the days of the party, the celebrations are concluded every year with a fireworks display from Monte Castello, so dear to the people of Cavese that it increases the value of a house for the mere fact of having the right exposure towards the mountain.  An event that sees the Casali di Trombonieri compete in a shooting competition and that every year attracts a large number of spectators, both from Cavese and elsewhere.  The whiteness of the blank parchment , received by King Ferrante, as a thank you to the city and to the 500 Cavesi soldiers who came to his aid, was never “profaned”, and is still so preserved in the Palazzo di Città. Today the Parchment represents the coveted prize of the "Trombonieri Challenge"

Medieval Festival: It takes place throughout the territory of the Badia di Cava de 'Tirreni, or the "Body of Cava". In this festival there are activities and re-enactments with a medieval theme.
